Our final semester is coming to a close in a few weeks, so it is ideal to stay up to date with your assessments so you don’t encounter a shock at the beginning of the year.
Plan ahead
- Set deadlines for yourself, pick a day in the week and start crossing the list off of tasks you must do. Having a to-do list will allow you to feel accomplished each time you do a task.
Be Productive
- Find time between your classes and working schedule to get ahead of your assessments. Staying productive before and after class will keep you from falling behind.
Have a study space
- Whether you prefer to study from your bed, the couch or the library, having a designated study spot where you are free from distractions can help you move ahead with your assessments. 67% of people say leaving their home and going to a quiet location increases their productivity.
20-20-20 rule, take frequent breaks
- Follow the 20-20-20 rule, for every 20 minutes you look at the screen, you should look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. This is a great way to remember to take frequent breaks. This will also help with eye strain caused at looking at digital screens all day.
